We called it the Traveler... And its arrival changed everything...

For hundreds of years after the Collapse, the world has been protected by the Guardians, brave heroes, resurrected from the dead by the Light.  With power given to them by the Traveler, these Risen Warriors have kept the Last City from destruction and Humanity from extinction.  

But as new threats arise, and the Guardian's numbers continue to dwindle,  one Guardian is resurrected in the ruins of one of the World's greatest centers of exploration.  

Thrown into the chaos of a fallen world,  will she be consumed by the enclosing Darkness?  Or will she rise above to forge her own Destiny and become Legend.

Christian looked down from the creature looming before him at the gun in his holster. Engraved on its side were the words, "Until the last flame dies and all words have been spoken" "It's time to draw guardian, one last time." The hunter looked up at his ghost then looked back down again, "Ya know, I always thought it was called 'The Last Word' because it ensured the wielder he'd get it, but I think I understand now...
