Meet River; all she wants to do is to blend into the crowd in hopes that she'll be able to hide her depression and pass life. She takes necessary precautions by wearing the typical clothing of a tomboy or dyke to prevent herself from standing out. River has everything in her new start planned out, everything but being the bad-boy's best friend.

Meet Grayson; he's the jock, player and bad-boy all molded into one being. He's the guy every girl wants. He's also the guy that turns the tomboy, new student into his best friend.

As if this new friendship hasn't already ruined River new start, she finds herself developing unwanted feelings for her new 'best friend' who suddenly gets a girlfriend. She tries desperately to distance herself and erase all traces of her crush, but no girl can resist a bad-boy, not even the tomboy.
