A short story per chapter.
Only pattern would be that they would be accompanied or inspired by a song.
And that each chapter's characters kinda build upon each other. You'll see what I mean, if you open and read.

I try not to stare most of the time, but for some reason, tonight, I just couldn't look away. I've seen many pretty girls before in so many different places; Including the light rail, but for some reason tonight, she was just so much lovelier than any other girl I've ever seen. Why am I even getting worked up over her anyways? It's not like I'll ever see her again. Well, that's a perfect excuse to keep looking! I'll never see her again, so why does it matter if I continue to look. Well then, that settles it. I'll continue to look... He was right. Normally, when I see a cute girl, I'm like eh, but because she's just so pretty, and also because I don't have much time left, I might as well. "I mean, come on dude, You might as well." ((I'm discontinuing this because I'm in the process of rewriting this book. You can find the rewrite on my profile under the same name but different cover. I'm only leaving this book up for nostalgia purposes because I wrote this back in middle school and so many people loved it. So without further ado, please enjoy and check out my rewrite of Dressing Like a Girl)) Ohio's life was nothing special to him, being adopted by two gay men, suddenly having two older sisters who are also adopted, and a somewhat sketchy aunt. Even with this being the case, him and his new family mush together like it was met to be. Nothing major really happened in his life besides that until one day he receives a package from his aunt. A package that changes his perfectly normal life forever. All of the trigger warnings are in bold letters and at the end of the triggering scene there is a bold note letting you know it's over incase you skipped the scene. My notes are also in bold letters but you don't have to read them if you don't want to. OVERALL TRIGGER WARNINGS ARE: Language warning, sexual assault, mention of rape, rape, manipulation Be sure to vote, comment, and enjoy the book!!

This is an LGBTQ story inspired off of the Pjo series remember that this does not directly tie in with the characters and some characters are more inspired then other all the characters mentioned are mine unless I say they aren't mine they are either fully mine or inspired the story itself is about many teens with family issues and powers forming relationships with each other as they learn more about betrayal and love will you join them on this adventure?
