"I never stood a chance, did I?" My eyes hadn't left her since she arrived. I looked at her differently then I ever had. She wasn't who I thought she was, she wasn't who anyone thought she was. And it was beautiful. "That's the sad part - you did once. And everyday sine then I've let you stand a little closer. Your chance was still here but," She gripped the edge of the railing. Her hair was fluttering lightly in the night air. "you were gone. You've been gone a long time." Her hair was fluttering the way she made my heart flutter. It looked insignificant and small but felt as though someone had released a hundred butterflies in my stomach. It was beyond my control and I loved it.
