"Dammit, Winter, why can't you just accept it? I told you how I feel, and it's obvious you don't feel the same way. So I'm leaving. You'll never see me again. Happy?" his words left me speechless, as did the pain as sharp as broken glass that I could hear in his voice. "The heck you are!? Are you joking?! Are you mentally incapable of understanding your own actions?! You are hypocritical liar!" I screech, my voice cracking at certain moments. "I may be many things, Winter, but I am not a liar." Finn says in a low, dangerous voice. I suddenly realize that I just may have put things in the harshest way possible. "Oh my god, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, see what I am now, a hypocrite. So, make up your mind, oh wise one, what are your actual feelings? And this time you don't lie. I mean it. I swear to God, I'll let you pass like the wind and I'll forget about you like everyone else who didn't matter." I affirm, my voice shaking. His tall shadow walks toward me, his eyes softening. His arms wrap around my body and he whispers in my ear, his breath making my skin tingle. "It was all true. I swear on my life." I look up at him cautiously, afraid of opening up to him, of letting my feelings take the better of me. His sculpted face looks down at mine. His eyes penetrating through the windows of my soul. "Your eyes.....they're just like, like.." I mumble. "I know, just like topaz, my Emerald."
