"...she doesn't know what winter is, only that she is what causes it." - Persephone the Wanderer, Louise Gluck Cursed with the inheritance of governing the Underworld, the oldest of the three original gods, Hades, resents the human realm and the gods that it revolves around. But, at the sight of a newborn child, with powers unlike any other that had been born in the godly realm, such power only accompanied by sin, Hades fell in love. It was not her power that made him feel again, but the fact that sin was not what had accompanied such power; it was purity. Through a series of events, Hades returns to his realm with the one he claims to love, but that purity she was born with could only stand so much damage before sin would fill the cracks. What will Hades do when he discovers the true nature of Life? - This is my adaption to the tale of Hades and Persephone. A bit of original mythology is altered, so if something is untrue, it is merely a change made to suit the story. This story deals with heavy themes such as abduction and rape, and is meant as a work of fiction not meant to be taken literally. You have been warned! - Enjoy 🌱
