Abigail (Abbey) Thomas is a junior in high school and all she wants is for someone to be by her side. Someone who will love her for who she really is, regardless of her flaws.
One day she has a moment where she sees Lance, her former best friend from middle school, and she sees him differently. All of a sudden he’s really cute and she can’t keep her eyes off of him. She doesn’t understand what is going through her mind. He’s her best friend from when they were younger, how could she possibly feel like this? Should she feel like this?
Then she remembers that they stopped talking to each other after the beginning of freshman year and Abbey can’t help but wonder could he feel the same and be scared of his feelings too? What will happen as Abbey goes on through high school? Will she and Lance ever reveal their feelings towards each other become an item?
