Cornelius hears his bell jingle. Who could that be at this hour? He stands, stretches his arms above his head and walks to his door. The bell jingles, impatient now, until he opens his glossy door.

In the pouring rain stands a drenched girl. Her breast length, chestnut hair lays against her loose plaid shirt and underneath her clingy white shirt is nearly see through. Cornelius blushes crimson. Her faded and holey blue jeans look almost black. She shifts her weight. Her classic Converse squeak on his rock path.

Her big brown eyes grow wide and her pink lips part in a soft gasp. "It's you! It's really you!"

Cornelius stares at the strangely dressed girl with curiosity. "Do I know you?"

"Ye-well, well no. But I know you! I know all about you Cornelius Grant. You see, where I come from we have books. And this man invented a machine so we can go into them. I came to yours to save you."

"Save me?" Cornelius asks with a scrunch of his brows. "From what?"

Brianna also seems jumpy as she watches Raphael get up to look at the farthest door where the other passengers came from. Frantic looks go around the place and nervous voices fill our ears along with the scrapping sound of the subway. I turn around to look at the other passengers and my eyes catch the red lights from the moving letters on one part of the roof. I gulp and sweat starts down my neck as I read its bright letters. All four had their family crest on it with a ruby in the center of the rings. Dimitri had walked by the opened door and saw me looking in the box. And this is how I have ended up with his hand tight around my throat. Slam "I told you never to come in this room!" Dimitri roared. His hand is slowly tightening around my throat. It's getting harder to try to get out of his hold. "I.." He interrupted me. "You what!?" He yells. "Can't." I couldn't finish my sentence. "I can't hear you!" He growls low and dangerous. "Breathe!" I struggle to get out. Slam!! My skull echoed throughout the room for the 4th time. My head has bounced off the wall. Oxygen is slowly leaving my body and I can barely hold on. I'm going to die in his hand if he doesn't move it. My tears are now falling down my face and hitting the floor by my bare feet. "If I ever see you in here again I will..." He never got to finish his sentence because Orion has tackled his brother off me. "What the hell Dim! You could have killed her. She's fucking human you idiot, you cannot go Hulk on her. You will kill her!" Orion yells as loud as he possibly could. I swear my eardrums will pop. "..... Mate."

Then, a line appears, from the sky to the White House, a line so dark it rejects reality, and is rejected in turn, time-space begins to distort around it, the world bending. SupaSound charges forward, even though he won't make it, he has to. Finally, the black portal cracks open, and the world around him explodes in blinding red light, followed by a voice."Was that humanity's best? I'd laugh if it wasn't so sad..."
