Opal is finally a senior. 
Everything seems to be fine. Until that faithful day when Colby, her old best friend/neighbor bumps into her at lunch and sits in front of her in English class.

She's absolutely confused that now after 3 years of high school Colby begins to show his interest in tormenting and annoying Opal and starts to show signs of his old self.


She wonders why they fell apart. She wonders if they could ever be friends again. She wonders why she's just realizing now that she's fallen in love with him since they first became friends and neighbors. She wonders if he feels the same way.

He wonders why she stopped going over to his house before high school started. He wonders why she never saw him more than just her best friend and annoying neighbor. He wonders if he could ever make her realize that he's been in love with her all these years. He wonders if she feels the same way.
