They say you never remember something the same way twice. Each time you think of something past, what you recall is from the last time you thought of it. Each time, more of the event or person is lost. You slowly lose pieces of it; memories can't be trusted. But when you lose a person, whether losing touch or death or they were just never meant to be a permanent part of your life in the first place, memories are all you have left.
After David, Mia's memories swirl through her head, a mixture of fact and fiction, their first meeting to their breakup, and the aftermath.
