He's finally done defending his home planet. But just as he puts his feet up, a mysterious Gem with a gemstone the shape of a corrupted love-heart appears, riding a massive Injector. Of course, the Crystal Gems eventually stop her in the end... but not after a MASSIVE twist. We hate you, Pink Diamond!! The truth is out. Rose Quartz, the leader of the Crystal Gem rebellion, was Pink Diamond all along. It shocked all of the Gems, but Steven was the most affected. His anger now only grows, seeing that his mother, who he once looked up too, was nothing more than a coward, a murderer, and a liar. What pushes him over the edge is when Pearl and the other Crystal Gems still want him to be like her.
