***PREVIOUSLY TITLED THE BOY IN THE TREE*** Gwen Roberts considers herself average. Or at least until a mysterious boy shows up to escort her to the far future. She isn't supposed to stay for long, but as soon as the ceiling collapsed, she was running. And she hasn't stopped running since. In the futuristic city of Rendera, an overpowering government conquers in a style that is far from common democracy. They extract certain citizens from the general population, and force them to undergo a surgery that turns them into a superhuman drone that has no choice but to enforce the laws of the twisted society. These beings are commonly know as cops. But what happens when one of them is able to bypass the control on herself, and turns rogue? All people have nightmares that they are forced to face, but the thing about living your greatest fear is a little more abnormal. Let's just say that you'll know when it happens. Follow Gwen and her newfound friends (possibly more than friends) on their journey across the Atlantic Ocean, to escape society, and all of its flaws. Or the one where Harry Styles can time travel and Gwen thinks this whole adventure thing is a little over her head. (I know, this summary is kind of confusing, it's just little features of the story that make it original)
