The planet has gone to ruin. The world you knew is destroyed. In the year 2053, China declared war on North America. All the peace treaties signed after the Hiroshima bomb have been disregarded in China's strive for world dominion. America had been struck with fear for months prior to The Fall and were prepared lousily which created the destruction of one of the World's most powerful countries in history.
In the Desert of south-western America a man named Xytan has lost everything he had once known. After The Fall the new Imperial government had enslaved humans that were close to the nuclear blasts, known as Mutts, forcing them to build underground cities for the chance of survival for the human race.

While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves.
