Meela always preferred being on her own. She didn't need anyone but herself, and she definitely learned it the hard way. Jumping foster homes, dealing with fake friends, coping with absent parents... her life was a constant fight for acceptance. So she decided to stop fighting.
When the apocalypse happened, she found herself better off than most, with nothing to lose or fight for but herself. The independence made her hard and detached which in turn gave her an upper hand when it came to fighting off the monsters around her.
But suddenly that independence is challenged when she comes across a young man who just can't seem to get that she doesn't want him around.
Or does she?
