"It wasn't supposed to be like this!" I yelled. "No one was supposed to get hurt."

"But someone was hurt, my love." He spoke. 

All I could see was black. I was dreaming, that I was sure of. I know that voice. I told myself, but i just couldn't picture the face to match it. Something inside me told me to go to him. Though my feet were stuck to the cold floor. I was barefoot and only wearing my pajamas, which were just shorts covered by an over-sized t shirt that reached my mid thigh. I felt exposed, even in the dark.

"Don't call me that! Please, please, please just stop it. Please." I begged. The last part coming out in a whisper.

 I tried pinching myself, but that only caused a pain in my forearm. Wake up, Wake up, Wake up. I pleaded with myself, hoping to reach my sleeping body. 

He cackled. "Too late my love. Your just too late...." Then I felt the dream fade away into nothing and my eyes opened.
