I nearly leapt out my skin when I whipped around to face him, his icy blue eyes practically burning into Mike. "Damn, thought you were gone."
Glancing towards Mike, I could practically see the terror his eyes; his muscles tensed, body rooted to the spot and unable to move. Now I knew he was telling truth about not knowing of their human form.
As much I wanted to take a picture of this rare occasion, the thumps of Freddy's footsteps hammering towards me told me otherwise.

I feel myself blush profusely as Michael puts his face close to mine. He pressed his hands on my shoulders, holding me against the lockers behind me. I glanced around, wondering what he thought he was doing. Part of me wanted to push him away out of embarrassment, but the other wanted him to stay.
