"Don't you dare say you're in love with me." His tone was harsh, a bit more than he intended on sounding once he realized that she had flinched. His cold, stern gaze then met the floor, before clearing his throat.
"I'm sorry..." He spoke, his gaze meeting her pale blue eyes, the eyes that reminded him of the sky. She was so innocent, and he wanted her, but the least he wanted to do was hurt her.
"Just don't fall in love with me... I'll just ruin your life, even before you begin to realize it..." His tone was softer, taking a few steps back to create a space between them so he can away, but that didn't stop her from expressing how she felt.
"You just can't continue to push me away like that... You also  don't get to make this decision for me..." Her voice was stern, making his jaw clench a bit.
"I'm pushing you away to save you from experiencing pain - one that you've never felt in your life, before." He responded, making her shake her head.
"You can't do that, because, I know what I want..." She spoke as her final words came out softly. 
"I'm in love with you... Please, don't push me away..." Her voice cracked, once she spilled her last sentence. She loved him, and she would do anything to be with him.
