The earth is on the brink of utter destruction all because of a second war in heaven, and a box hidden away that contains the darkness also the old ones. The only one that is stopping this happening is a man that is not a man but a Nephilim. He is part human, angel, and demon but doesn't know it until he is dragged into this war, because only he has the power to open it and it's his destiny to find the box. Our fates are in his hands and he doesn't know who he can trust only his best friend that joins him on his quest. To find the box he must first find the angel that hid it away in the first place. Viper: When I was a kid I was naive, shy, and easy to push around. I was a little girl who dreamt of sunshine and rainbows. But that all changed when I was 10 years old and my grandparents died. I found myself utterly and completely alone in this world. One bad thing after another seemed to hit me. I of course dealt with it. I dealt with it because a man in a black leather Jacket and fucking amazing ink told me how to survive this cruel world. Sometimes you just have to get mean. And so I did. It became my only vice when shit got tough. I am fine on my own. I don't need anyone. Ryker: When I found her at just ten years old, she was just as cute, button-nosed, and sweet as a jar of honey. I gave her a bit of advice to survive this cruel world. She needed to learn to be a little mean, otherwise she would have been eaten alive. But now that I found her again, she isn't who she was when we first saw each other. She was known as Viper. She seemed to have taken my advice to heart. And fuck, I believe I created a fucking monster. Viper, a dark-haired, green-eyed, wicked smile, and sharp tongue. She thinks she has to do it on her own. But in reality, she doesn't. She has family. She has me. And Lucifer forbids anyone fucks with what belongs to me. Charlie: When I met her at fourteen years old, I never expected her to stay. She was just some kid wanting a tattoo. She was a firecracker waiting to explode. She was protective of things and people that belonged to her. Dan was meant to just kick her out and let her go on her way, but she stayed. Nothing left my mouth as I stared at him in shock. He truly believed that I was part of this. The man, who I had lived with and served for months. The man who I had protected with my life and soul. I stood still while, as he backed away from me quickly. "I trusted you with my life." His cry pierced around the empty room. He looked so destroyed and hurt, but mostly his face portrayed rage and determation. "And I protected you with mine." I spoke back loudly. I didn't hear myself say it but I knew I did. I look into his eyes even from our distance they seemed to wallow me in darkness. "I gave you mine." My voice was quiet and cracked. His face changed only for a second before his old one took over again. He doesn't believe me. It doesn't matter what I say or do he won't listen. He will still believe I am the bad guy. Just as Kane said, we will never be equals, we will never be fellow humans. We will always be monsters to them. "Yakov, I am not the bad guy." I plead one last time. His Russian accent comes out harsh with his next words. "Your right," he pauses, "you are the villain." I stumble back as if I had just been stabbed in the chest. It was a horrible feeling. It was never good with the emotions and yet I recognize the feeling as heart beak. I barely breathe in air as I regain my posture. A battle cry from somewhere distracts me momentarily. I suddenly remember Ewan. I glare at Yakov one more time before I take off after the cries of battle. Jade believes she started the war among the human and her kind. Nothing is as it was portrayed. The lies and the truth are hidden among each other. There is is no clear good and evil. How can there be if one does not know what is right and what is wrong. She was prepared to see death, prepared to inflict death upon others without mercy or remose. She was prepared to do her job which the Facility had given her. It consumed every surface of my body and mind like a deadly cancer It had become a promise to myself. A reminder. A standard. It was a rule applied to every person in my life, except him... And there he showed her something that choked the life out of her frail body as she lost her balance in dizziness. ****** Love is elusive but sometimes it knocks right at your door but you're too arrogant to pay it any heed or maybe too scared to acknowledge it. Either way, destiny always knows how to play its part well. You can ignore it but can never run away from it. It never lets you evade itself and follows you everywhere, like a shadow. Crooning and spreading its arms right open at you, enveloping you from every nook, cajoling you, brandishing your tattered soul, and enticing you to the point where you have to surrender and accept it. Where you have to hold on to it and let everything else go. Because sometimes all a ragged soul and a chasm heart need is a pint of love. The tale of two youngsters who kept finding their way towards each other no matter how hard they tried to ignore it. Life would always collide their paths. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise.
