Canthopia, it's a world where every single person has a power. The people acquire these powers only after they turn 19 and after. But sometimes, in some rare cases, some special people get it around 16 or 17 years. And after they find out they are send to the Elemental Academy to find what power they have and also to perfect it. Melanie Grace was one of those few people who got her power a few days after she turned 17. And thus was send to the Elemental Academy and has to stay there till she has mastered her power....or powers? So what power or powers will Melanie get? Will it be one of the rare elements or the sub elements? And will she make friends at her new school while finding out things about her that even she didn't know? And maybe even fall in love? The Noble Academy has a group of people that are born with special abilities besides the other humans. They are called Elementals. These people are at the top of the school. So far, the known abilities are fire, water, earth and air. These people wear red cloaks and mask to protect their identities. What happens when there is a person that has all the abilities and more? Meet Winter Valentine. She knows what she is and she knows it must be kept as a secret. The elders of the Academy keep a close eye on her. Fearing that she can be a dangerous threat as she controls very strong powers. A dangerous power is approaching and not all the Elements can defeat them. I dare to ask. He sits back at the wall staring at me. He runs his eyes down my body and slowly smirks. "Yes," "Good," I say digging my fork into the pasta. I then place the pasta into the carrots... Playing with my food. I have been scolded for this many times when I was back in the Ordinary world. Now there is no one to do that for me. Okay, so here's how it all began. Basically, teenagers have been vanishing across the country and no one has the foggiest idea what's going on (myself included). But at the end of the day I've got bigger things to worry about, such as the eternal hell that is the last day of high school and my psychopathic chemistry teacher. I've got enough going on in my life to be worrying about something I can't do anything about. Famous last words Nick. Suddenly I find myself being dragged into a world I apparently belong to and there's a war going on. The light and the dark are scrabbling for control and everything is hanging by a thread. And I'm stuck in the middle of it. So with the help of a few new friends, some new enemies, beasts, monsters and superpowered teenagers, I'm somehow going to navigate this mad new world and hopefully get out on the other side with all my limbs still intact.
