"How long will you keep doing this?" I demanded, a sudden rage filling me. 

His pale blue eyes looked up at me. I froze. I could see my brother in him. I could see my brother. 

Harris was long gone after the sirens had gone off, which made sense. He didn't need more trouble. 

So it was just us, alone in the alley. 

For the first time I seemed to notice the way his brown hair curled around his ears. I noticed how he was wearing long sleeves, even though it was summer. I noticed how if you really looked at those pale blue eyes, you could see how they fought back tears.

My limbs were shaking from exhaustion, including the extra limbs protruding from my back. My breath came out rapidly but, I couldn't seem to get enough oxygen to my lungs. My eyes burned from the force of the air whipping past them. " No Razor! You can't stop, I'm right behind you. Keep going!" I heard a familiar voice say that seemed close but, distant. Following the voices orders I pushed my body to go faster and to ignore the pain of exaustion. "There she is!"

In The Eyes Of Fate Series (Book One) "Don't even think about it." I stood frozen in place as he said those words from behind me, which sent shivers down my spine. The rain started running down my face as I started thinking of a way out of here. My body trembled in fear knowing that he could easily hurt me. I'm not strong against someone like him Thoughts raced through my mind as I tried to think of a way to get away from him. But there was nothing but endless trees around me. I stuttered out. I tried to sound brave and not let my fear show, but my mouth betrayed me. His golden red eyes flickered with a hint of pain for a moment then back to a cold stare, "I'd never hurt you, never put you in harm's way and I'm never letting him take you from me, you're mine." He said in a deep low voice, almost a growl, and his eyes seemed to have gotten darker. 'What the hell is that supposed to mean?!' I tried taking a step back but his grip on my arm tightened. It hurt. "L-let me go, you, you're hurting me!" I looked up at him scared, his eyes were now completely dark, and the next thing I noticed were pointed teeth poking out from his lips. I screamed and pushed at him but he didn't budge. I then raised my knee and kneed him between the legs with all my force, and he dropped like a rock, holding his groin. Run. I took my chance. And ran. ~~~ Nora Brown, a normal adult, living a normal life. Moving away from home to start fresh and meet new people. Just going where life takes her. Who knew that just one short encounter at work with a god-like man, would flip her life entirely upside down, and nothing would ever be the same again. So much for normal.

Blade's eyes turned cold. Like a dark colored ocean that just froze. He took a frightening step forward so now his face was only inches from my face, even with his height, making my breath hitch in my throat. I could no longer breath. No longer see people repeatedly walking past my house. No longer hear those birds in the tree that were begging me to run. I could only see his dark blue eyes that held so much danger and anger. I could only hear his rapid breathing and even his fast heartbeat. I was just that dazed into his stare.... more like glare. "Is there someone else?" he said so low no one could hear but me. And I heard him. So clearly. I heard the threat telling me to say yes for he can make whoever the competition is disappear. I heard the anger he held behind his low tone. I heard the jealousy beyond anything. That was what clouded over everything. "N-no," I stuttered. I'm angry to admit I was scared. How he towered over me didn't make it any better. Standing proudly at maybe a 6'4 or 6'5. While I stood at a 5'5. He scanned my face trying to look for any sign of me lying. And when he backed up I knew he couldn't find one because what I said was indeed true. To be honest there was only him. And it seems like that is what it will always be. The all famous gang leader and tough girl, cross paths. He hates disrespect and that's what she's all about. How do you think this will all play out in the end?

"Do you really want to just sit and talk about family," I leaned over to whisper in his ear, "and friends," I lightly nipped his earlobe while continuously running my finger down his shirt until I reached the waistline of his black jeans, "and school," I was just about to trace my finger over his zipper when he gripped my hand and looked me in the eye just as I finished saying, "and other stuff like that." I looked up from our hands to his green eyes, taking in the blueish specks of his irises, with a hint of hazel mixed, surrounding his pupil. We stared at each other for a minute, me admiring how close his proximity is and how the tingly sensation of his hand on mine felt good. "No I don't." Dominic groaned out, looking down at my lips and then back up at me. "No you don't what?" I leaned in a little, suddenly feeling drawn in to his green eyes and awaiting lips. ------ Ryler didn't expect to fall for him so soon. It only took her 2 days for her to realize how much she truly cares for him. Only 2 days for her to also realize it was a mistake. Only 2 days for her to feel heartbroken.

His eyes meet mine, but there is no spark of any emotion in them. They are cold and dark making me look away not being able to hold his deadly stare. I feel uneasy under his gaze, and i feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. "No, I won't explain because it's not important." He says in a low, almost, growl. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.
