Kythopia is filled with the elements. Seven of them. Seven races were created when the Earth was thrown into existence. Each with the responsibility over their own element, and bits of that element in their blood.
First there are The Elves, with their responsibility over the earth element, and their abilities; to speak with animals, to grow the crops needed to sustain life, and to heal all over the Realm. Then there are the Faeri with their ancient ways, said to be the first race created and placed on the Earth. They commonly take to the skies with their wings, and their power over then wind element. The Omhi, are know for their control of the time element. Being cousins to the elves, they share a love for the Earth as well, and live in the glowing mushroom forests in the center of the realm, building their cities their. They control night and day, and can use the night to cover themselves, and become invisible. There are the Daedrai. This race tends to shift from one skin to another with ease with their control over the element of water. The race is said to share human and feline attributes, and when taking their true form they can use the water element to heal as well. Then their are the Kawaki. These are the metal shapers, and forgers of the land. They are able to shape metals with their bare hands using the fire element, and they are the most fearsome race in all the land. Lastly there are the Furu. This race is made up of those with the power of prophesies, and that which is to come. They are responsible for the light element. They also can tell between lies and truth, and they enact justice in the Realm.
