Lucy Heartfilia was never allowed to go outside. She didn't have any siblings to play with, the servants weren't allowed to interact with her, her mother had died two and a half months ago, and her father was always busy working. Every night, she prays to the stars for someone to talk to, and her prayers are finally answered the day a black bird lands on her windowsill.
Natsu Dragneel knew he shouldn't have annoyed the old man. However, this didn't stop him, and he paid the price after the old man turned him into a black bird. Thankfully, the man was kind enough to tell him how to turn back to normal. Unfortunately, Natsu wasn't paying attention and ended up getting swept by a wind current and landing on a windowsill.
