When he looks at me, something ignites. It's like there gasoline in my veins, and he is a spark that just sets me on fire. It's painful thought. He lights me up, and I feel so alive, but I'm still burning. I have burns on my skin and in my lungs and all around me, because I never put the fire out. At birth, the Artist takes ink to your skin in beautiful twirls and swirls. It's said that those with the same tattoo are soul mates, but that's not the point. In the ink... is the day that death will graze your mind as it pulls you to what waits. Rather it's easy bliss or a simple void. But that's not the focus of our society.
