In a world where sex, drugs and rock n roll are the norm, you realise when the person you love comes with all of that and more, it takes patience.

21 year old Lola Jay or "LJ" for short moves to Hollywood for a fresh start with the added bonus of being able to keep up with her childhood best friend Duff McKagan who is also bass guitarist for the legendary Guns 'n' Roses.

Throw in basically love at first sight with a certain curly headed lead guitarist and follow the ups and downs of what it means to love a rock star who's fine with the thought of living life dangerously to the fullest and probably not living to the age of 30.
