Kiara Thompson defined herself as several things
-an artist
-a pacifist
and her least favourite of all, an orphan.

Kiara Thompson had a plan. She would graduate high school She would work hers fingers to the bone for a year or so. She would go to an art school somewhere grand.

Unfortunately fate has other ideas.

When a new family moves in to the ever-abandoned house next door, Kiara is entirely smitten with the cute son who has every bit of the snark and drive that Kiara finds essential to people.

As she spends more and more time with the neighbours, however, Kiara begins to realise something is up.

It turns out the new neighbours have a secret and once they let Kiara in her whole world will be unravelled.

*Companion novel to Scarlet Lore. You don't need to read either one to understand the other but they are set in the same universe and there maybe references to characters/objects/groups. Once again you don't have to read both but I'd just like to let you know there is more to the universe.

"It's always been you, Phoenix. You are the one who makes me the happiest. Just being in the same room as you gives me god damn butterflies. Hearing the sound of your voice makes me feel safe and protected. And when you left for college, home didn't feel like home anymore. That's when I realized that home wasn't just a house or a place you live at...for me, it was you." Scarlett Wolf has the looks of her father but the sass, class, and kindest soul from her mother. She wears her heart on her sleeve and there is only one person on earth who takes up the biggest part of it. The one who she has been desperately in love with since diapers and the one who has never seen her as anything other than just a little girl. Phoenix Zeller has the rugged looks, charm, and cluelessness from his father but the passionate and protective heart from his mother. He's serious and stubborn at times, but when he finally opens up, he is the biggest sweetheart you'll ever know. And just when he thinks he has a good grasp on life, a little "Wolf" will come along to flip his world upside down in the best way possible. **This is book two of my "Out of" series. Book one is called "Out of Left Field" which is about the parents of the characters in this story. It is currently on the Chapters app, but I will be slowly transferring it over to Wattpad. You do not have to read book one first. Just know that there may be a few very simple details you would be missing.** Copyright © 2020 by Jenna Stephens All rights reserved. Kali has always been obedient, but when she takes her first step onto a protected “humans only” high school in suburban Pittsburgh, she knows she was the wrong choice for this mission. Ever since the murder of her parents when she was too young to remember, she’s been sheltered – and trained. She can swing a sword with expert precision, but studying popular human teen magazines hasn’t taught her how to masquerade as seventeen years old. Jason is the target of the mission. She and Yuuhi, who was also designated by his own people to be her partner, must find solid proof that Jason is, in fact, a supernatural phenomenon. Yuuhi sees little more than a socially inept emo kid dressed in conflicting shades of black, but Kali only touches Jason’s hand, and she feels the sting of something dark and deadly. Jason’s shadow is bigger than he is, and if the leaders of Yuuhi’s people find out, Jason won’t be human much longer. The goal of the mission is to protect him, but Kali will find that the only way she can do just that is to break every rule she’s been conditioned to follow. She’ll have to learn how to disobey. Beginning with Kali’s point of view and then shifting to the eyes of other characters, the Marionettes of Myth series introduces Pittsburgh as a superhuman metropolis, a world both wild and conquered by the monsters buried in its seams and darkest shadows. And those monsters will be watching her. ♦ Completed! ♦ [Copyright © 2013 Sarah Godfrey & Victoria DeRubeis] (All current books in the series are available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle format. *WARNING! This book contains mature themes such as drinking, drug use, explicit language, mentions of suicide, sexual content, abuse, and more. Please read at your own risk.* Oakley Adams is a pureblood Slytherin at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. Her family and another powerful pureblood family, the Nelson's, have their son, William Nelson, and her's lives set for them. Things are average and well in her world, until she meets a certain Hufflepuff her 6th year and everything is flipped upside down. She's conflicted between her family and her happiness. Will she live up to her Slytherin identity and stay loyal to her family and status, or will she risk losing everything for the one thing she truly wants? I only own the OC's (Oakley, William, their families, etc) and the plot. All other characters and magical things are owned by J.K. Rowling. The plot doesn't follow any of the books. I made the cover!
