Micah's Gift
When I was a kid I always knew Christmas was coming when my dad brought out the Christmas Count-down Case. It had 25 compartments with doors, each holding a different ornament. We would open one door each night of December while we read the serialized Christmas story from the local newspaper. As part of the #justwriteit 30 day contest, I'm bringing back that tradition with a serialized story. Each day, right up to Christmas, I'll be adding a chapter of the story. "Micah's Gift" is told from the perspective of a 15 year old boy from a family touched by tragedy and challenge. Micah will do whatever it takes to make his three year old brother's Christmas wish come true. Because of the holiday involved, there are some Christian references but this is not a religious story. It celebrates the spirit of giving from the heart. Happy Holidays to all!Tamamlanmış Hikaye
The Lucky One
Who says wishes and dreams never come true? Not me. I believe that life is like a rollercoaster. There are ups but sometimes there are also downs and those are my inspirations in life to succeed in everything that I do. I know not everybody has the same beliefs as I do and I understand that but I believe that God made me a mission. A mission to inspire people that wishes do come true and I will prove him that those wishes he wished for when he was younger, will one day come true.Tamamlanmış Hikaye
The Santa Clause Act (Completed)
❝ Wait," I say, backing away. "Let me get this straight- you're Santa Clause?" I stare at the boy no more than a couple years older than me. He had to be kidding. He rolls his eyes, his handsome face illuminated by the lights on the tree. "Well when you put it that way, I suppose." The candy cane i am sucking on falls from my lips, clattering to the floor. "B-But where's the beard, the overflowing fat and the HO HO HO?" He snorts, a charming smile on his lips as he tugs on the end of my Santa hat. "Sweetheart, it's all just the Santa Clause Act.❞ ~*~ p.s. The current cover was made by Isasecret Ranking: short story #9/ Teen Fiction: #56Tamamlanmış Hikaye
