it has always been just Brooklyn and her older brother oliver against the world so when they get separated the situation is hard for her to deal with and she ends up hardening her heart that is until she meets Sophia sleeping in a car dehydrated and starving so she takes her in and they become attached to each other quickly. when they come across a farm and Save a old man called Dale who is from Sophia's group she is upset when Sophia wants to be with here mother again leaving her lonely without her brother again. What happens when he turns up when they take camp at a prison and the battle with another town and take in the residence.
