Ongoing, First published Dec 13, 2013
The world has been reduced to a pile of ash by countless terrorists, forcing people to move far underground. However, it is later revealed that the bombs that had been dropped released a chemical called Oldarketite into the air, poisoning all the oxygen on the surface. When the underground cities begin collapsing, both physically and economically, a woman known as M makes a potentially life changing discovery: the new deepest trench in the ocean. If her calculations are correct, just enough oxygen is at the bottom to start a new civilization. She gathers the most well-known scientists in the country-- Quincy Katil, Krystina Fong, Andy Yaroslaski, Benjamin Qiao, Lian Yeung, and a robotic tiger named Itsname-- and takes them on a journey to the bottom of the sea. What they see will never be forgotten.

The Deep Awakening: Secrets Beneath Apolaki" by znmarkyy
10 parts Ongoing
In 2019, Filipino marine geophysicist Dr. Jenny Anne Barretto, along with Dr. Ray Wood and Dr. John Milsom, published a groundbreaking discovery - a massive underwater crater called the Apolaki Caldera, hidden within the Benham Rise (also known as the Philippine Rise). At 150 kilometers wide, it became known as the largest caldera in the world, dwarfing Yellowstone and other famous volcanic structures. Scientists believed the Apolaki Caldera was long extinct - a remnant of ancient volcanic activity deep under the Philippine Sea. But years after its discovery, something strange began happening. The seafloor near the Benham Rise started to tremble. Fishermen near the Philippine Trench reported glowing waters, disappearing fish, and strange echoes that sounded like deep animal cries. At the same time, sensors around Mt. Apo-the highest volcano in the Philippines-began detecting unusual underground vibrations. That's when Dr. Elias Navarro, a young marine geologist who once worked under Dr. Barretto, was sent to investigate. He was tasked with studying what seemed like harmless seismic activity... until his team discovered something unbelievable: a hidden tunnel system connecting Mt. Apo to the Apolaki Caldera - proof that the volcano and the underwater crater were somehow linked. The deeper they explored, the more they realized that Apolaki wasn't just a name. In ancient Tagalog mythology, Apolaki is the god of the sun and war - a being said to bring both light and destruction. Now, something beneath the ocean is waking up - and its heartbeat can be heard through the tremors of the earth. Ancient carvings, forgotten sea creatures, and secrets buried by time begin to resurface. And Elias must face the possibility that Apolaki isn't just a myth - but something alive beneath the sea.

"You'll always be my bro... my special person." That was Joong Archen-affectionate, dramatic, and unapologetically loud in how he loved. He said it with a laugh, locking Dunk Natachai in a playful chokeslam as Dunk tapped frantically at his wrist in a mock protest. But then his tone shifted, laughter softening. "What if... your wife doesn't approve of me in the future?" Dunk coughed out a laugh, brushing it off like he always did with Joong's strange questions and cryptic remarks. That was just Joong-chaotic, unpredictable, somehow always pushing boundaries Dunk never knew he had. They couldn't have been more different. Joong was an extrovert who thrived on attention and late-night chaos; Dunk was an introvert who craved quiet, routine, and peace. But somehow, they worked. They balanced each other-fire and calm, noise and stillness. A friendship that shouldn't have made sense, but did. Until Joong fell in love. He never meant to. But it happened-quietly, completely. And it broke him, because he knew-he knew-his homophobic best friend would never feel the same. Or so he thought. When a moment of vulnerability turned into a mistake too big to ignore, Dunk chose to walk away. 7 years passed. Joong became a rising star-model, singer, and heartthrob. Dunk built an empire of his own as the CEO of Mon Amour, Bangkok's most beloved bakery. Their worlds had changed, but the wounds remained. As they come face-to-face once more, the weight of unspoken words and the sting of broken promises hang heavy between them. Yet, beneath the years of silence and pain lies a bond too deep to be forgotten. As they rebuild what was broken, their journey becomes one of rediscovery-not just of each other, but of themselves. The past collides with the present as they explore if love, when it's real, can survive time, heartbreak, and fear. Because real love doesn't fade. It waits-for the right moment to begin again.

Time is no longer your enemy. Regret is a thing of the past. Each new day brings the promise of endless possibilities, spent in the pursuit of your own happiness, guiltless with the knowledge that there are no longer earthly constraints to inhibit you. This is the life you have always wanted. Welcome to your new beginning..." Akropolis is a city at the end of times, a sanctuary where the brightest and best have been housed since the last Great War. A genome defect has afflicted the majority of the population and scientists are desperate to find a cure. In the meantime, man has found his own salvation in the form of the QUBIT (quantum processing bio-synthetic), an android that is capable of prolonging life almost indefinitely, and yet what makes them human in the first place has been lost in the transition. The ruling council believes that salvation is nigh, but whether that hope arrives in time is questionable. The city's future depends upon the actions of a few individuals, all of whom are struggling with their own mortality. Quentin is the boy who dreams of death. Mia is the tortured soul. Trey is the soldier that defines duty. Misao is the future of the ruling council. Claire is the girl with a secret that will rock the foundations of their entire civilization. Unbeknownst to them, the entire fate of Akropolis lies in their hands. Either humanity will find a way to survive or it will sink slowly into the sea of extinction.
