If there ever were an award for the world's most boring 24-year-old girl, Genevieve Mirabelle would be first in line to receive it. With nothing under her belt besides a high school diploma and seven years working at the local Rite Aid, Genevieve spends her time taking care of her younger sister while their parents leave on business trips that seem to take up most of Gen's young adult life. Life seems to be a never ending cycle of anxiety and disappointment. But when Genevieve is to take Thea, her sibling, and her friends to an Ed Sheeran concert in the city of Charlotte, and she ends the night in an unexpected way, will her daily routine be broken? Will all of her anxieties over the future be solved by the most unforeseen person?

*Note: this takes place in 2010, before Ed was famous. The year after, his first album was released. When Audrey Carter enrolls at King's College University in London along with her best friend Cassie, it seems like the future is bright, for the first time in a really long time. Finally, Audrey doesn't have to worry about her drunk father ruining her stability and sanity, and her abusive ex boyfriend is thousands of miles away. Money saved up for a car is used to buy an apartment off campus, and classes start off really well. But when Audrey finds that her unreliable best friend/roommate refuses to pay half the rent, Audrey has to find a way to earn some cash. With reccomendations in mind, she discovers a small coffee shop near her apartment. Pretty good pay, not many people come in and very few people are employees there. The perfect place to waste time. And then she meets Ed. A redheaded boy with the same shift as her. Fate ensues, and they grow close. All Rights Reserved © radswift
