Lucy Heartfilia has it all. The look, intelligence, popularity and of course..... money. All of her life, she has been living in the 'golden cage' that her father built for her and her mother. When she's turning to 20, her father set up an engagement for her with a guy that she hates very much, Sting Eucliffe. She doesn't know what to do.
Then one night, a man showed up in her place and tried to killed her father to take vengeance of his father's death. Later on, Lucy succees to run from her 'golden cage', but find herself stuck with the man on a city that she barely know.
Her life turns upside down. From wealthy turns to have nothing at all. From being served turns to serve people. She hates her condition but can't do anything about it. And not to mention, she really hates the monster that she decided to follow, Natsu.
