Away

Sunshine flooded the air and that air was flooded with the aroma of salt from the East Sea. My eyes were shut tight and my mouth was forming a smile as I laughed. The light kissed my pale, golden skin and the bits of water flying through the air.

In the shade, below a branch reaching out for something unknown stood Takara who was the cause of the water smooches. Her porcelain skin looked greyed, being surrounded by darkness. I reached my hand out and pulled her forward, toppling her off of the sea stack she was comfortably resting on. I began falling back from the force being redirected at me but stopped when a pair of arms caught me by the armpits. Takara still continued to move and fell into the water where she got free of my hand and proceeded to scramble back onto her rock. The hands that caught me suddenly began tickling me vigorously. My head tossed back and I was faced with Nami who stopped.

She squinted at me with a grin and let go of me, letting me fall into the water. I turned over and floated to the top where I squirted water out of my mouth mimicking a whale with its blowhole. My head lolled over and I faced the side of Nami's face. She was gazing up- squinting at the sky. Clouds rolled in from the right and the light exited the stage on the left.
