Hopefully, this isn't too badly written. It's just a small Idea that was just meant to get me into the swing of writing. I'm looking forward to writing more.

"Who's there," I can't breath. I'm always looking over my shoulder ever since- I can't think about the now. I have to run but where, back to Jake? No I can't, everything is different now. He's supposed to be here to protect me, because if the got me... blood smears the pages of the passed. "Sapphire!" I hear him call. "Coal!" I reach out to touch him only for him to be yanked just out of my reach. I hear the wolves in the distance howling at the beautiful moon. I need his touch again. I need to know I'm safe. The only safe place anymore is pressed against him under the sheets. "Coal!" I call out again. ---I can hear her. She's here somewhere I know it. I can smell her sent threw the thick of the woods. "Sapphire!" I call out, but my call is lost in the night. I have to protect her. I have to save one, just one. Maybe that will be enough to clean the blood off my tainted skin. What if they get her? She'll... Change... I look up at the moon, could she not have heard my howls? Of course she did. She always did. I can hear the other wolves in the forest. Soon I too would be engulfed by the beast. Carla, a college student, was planning a trip along with her friends for the upcoming spring break. they decided to go to Miami Florida beach to get away from their current worries. it was all ruined when I got an unexpected call. it was my uncle. he said that my father was on his deathbed, that I was to immediately come home. and I said yes uncle I will be on the plane tonight and I will be there by morning and my uncle said ok my child I will see you then. after I hung up with my uncle I begin to hurry and pack. with tears coming down my cheek. hoping to see my papa for one last time before he passes I prayed. I got to the airport about 9 pm that night I boarded the plane and sat down in my chair. with tears still coming down my cheeks thinking back to the good old day that I had with my papa as I cried my self to sleep.Complete

He tenderly kissed my forehead lingering as my heart exploded I waited patiently and shut my eyes praying for him to remove his lips from my skin so I could go home. He finally did and when he unlocked the car doors I jumped out and hurried to my apartment not looking back at the devil in the car. I finally reached my apartment panting and shut the door sliding down my door crying hysterically, I could still feel his cold lips on me. What did I just witness tonight. What did I get myself into. I was scared of the future because I knew surely he would be back to check on his Queen.
