My Own Ball || LaMelo Ball ||

Everyone in the Ball family is tied up with both basketball and romance. Lonzo's got Denise, Gelo has Isabella, LaVar's been with Tina, and LaMelo has nothing except a basketball. After years of him being by himself LaMelo is searching for a girl he can proudly call his lover, a girl that understands the difficulty of being occupied with sports and school simultaneously.

One day Mrs. Brenes, the principle of Chino Hills, decides to dedicate a week of announcements once a month to student-athletes throughout the grade levels. She plans on having the most and least well known student-athletes collaborate on a fun activity so their fellow students can get to know them more. Since basketball runs the school with their sold out games, Mrs. Brenes knows she'll have to include the one and only LaMelo Ball. Although he's not extremely anxious or nervous, his palms are sweaty when Mrs. Brenes introduces him to his partner, Kalani Grey.

Kalani Grey is a sophomore and sometimes referred to as "bench warmer" when it comes to soccer since the coaches appreciate everyone else more than her. All the attention is focused on Ashley Gonzales, the leading forward for the team. However its all part of a plan to get the most favored into the lime light, and in this case its not Kalani...again.
