Sierra and Peter have been married for about a year and a half now, and have been happier than ever. It's just been hard, knowing that Susan, Edmund, and Lucy have been dealing with his 'death' in their world. But then, Edmund returns, and word starts to get around that there's a new evil, and that the darkness in this new person resembles that of the White Witch. Then, something else comes up. Something that Sierra had hoped would stay in her past, and wouldn't haunt her anymore. Can she and Peter manage to defeat this new evil? Or will the vow they made, 'Til death do us part' come into play a lot sooner than they'd hoped?

But she is proven wrong when her childhood friends arrive at the manor, and the youngest stumbles through a wardrobe in the spare room. Isabell soon finds out that the professor's stories were more than made up fantasies to help her sleep. And she in the Pevensies find more than they had hoped to in Narnia. Isabell learns more about herself and the blood that runs through her veins. Their lives will never be the same after entering the wardrobe. Most of all, she was curious about Aslan and the four sibling monarchs. When Yvaine hears about King Edmund's arrival, she leaps at the chance to ease her curiosity. Despite the tensions growing everywhere, Yvaine finds herself growing closer to the Narnian king. What will it take to save his kingdom? What can she possibly do to help?
