When Rose's mother gets murdered and Rose is the only witness, it puts a lot of pressure on the 10 year old girl. She ends up living with her father and stepmother. Her father wants to send her to a boarding school, far away but her stepmother refuses, saying that this young girl has been separated from enough family members. 

As Rose grows, she begins to have nightmares about the night her mother was murdered. She starts to flinch every time she hears a scream, or heavy footsteps. Everything takes a turn when she notices that people are glowing. Some color of the glows are different, some are the same. What will Rose do?
