❝People are so attracted to Death; they must be so attracted to me.❞ Rex Williams - a brooding, aloof loner, who communicates with his fists. A past riddled by dark murks and things he'd rather forget, but can't, and a future he cannot see. And a girl who sees him at school, and knows she should stay away - but can't. People overestimate the permanence of people's lives. Be careful what you wish for. COVER BY @Batman_justice © Shayanne Keats 2017

DISCLAIMER; they're drug abuse, PTSD, SH, SA, abuse, and probably more. IN NO WAY IS ANY OF THESE THINGS ROMANTICIZED. Wren (Rex) Dixon never had an easy life. He used to be a sweetheart. When he met Tyler he was 4 years old. He had a T-Rex jacket on with spikes on the hood and a little toy dinosaur he took everywhere with him, even when his mom would go do drug buys. That's why everyone started calling him Rex, for T-Rex. When he got older, life got harder. His dad left and his mom just kept getting worse and worse. He was looking for an escape. And when drugs, blood, and even going to the military didn't help, he was about to give up. Until the apocalypse happened. Then he had a purpose, keep his friends alive. But what happens when he reunites with his dad at terminus on his way to Washington D.C.? Beth Greene had everything. She has blonde hair, a button nose, she was even on the sophomore cheer squad when shit hit the fan. She even had herself a little house on the prairie boyfriend. What more could a girl ask for? When she stabbed Dawn with a pair of medical scissors its like she flipped a switch. Her first kill. Then when she met Rex, it all went downhill from there. Rex was like a drug to her. The more he called her nicknames, the more she hated him. But there's a find line between love and hate don't you think? Yet it's hard when the past two boyfriends she had died. But Rex was too tough to die. He walked through hell yet came back to her. But will Rex put past his own Demons to help her fight her own?
