We Belong Below

Mankind has thought of the next amazing living arrangements, obviously above where they last lived. As the roads piled higher and mankind was too lazy to shave down the asphalt they just decided to elevate the towns. What lies below very little know, animals were left as humanity converted to vegetables and growing meat in labs. The world below was long forgotten after a thousand years of expanding. One boy finds himself at an old gate covered in creepers and with only a black abyss behind it. And curiosity gets the best of him.
