Tonight was supposed to be like any other for Nyx Baleheart. Practice then get a ride home with her band members. But they decided they had other plans. A night filled with sacrificial rituals, jealousy and built up animosity leaves Nyx somewhere she'd never thought she'd be. Dead in a ditch or so everyone thought. Waking up in the morgue was not in her plans. Turning into something she barely recognized wasn't either. Scaring the beautiful mortician, although funny also wasn't.
Awakened a new her, Nyx is set on revenge and having fun. Now surviving off of pleasure and souls she must evade the watchful eyes of those who know the powers she holds.
Never has Morticia Boudreaux encountered a false death. After transporting the rising rockstar to her workplace a shocking discovery is made-she's not dead. But she's cold and almost lifeless like she is. Scaring her shitless, the once presumed to be dead star escapes.
After discovering her powers and need to consume, she encounters the mortician again and this time she wants her soul. The purest soul of them all.
