Caira has always lived her life as normally as possible, but that is hard to do when you are the bastard child of the High Prophetess of Ra, the sun god. Living in the Temple of Ra, Caira has never had any friends outside of her mother. On a day like any other, Caira enters her mother's room, hoping to relax, but is met with the sight of her mother, dead in her bed. Like her mother, Caira is gifted with powers from an Egyptian god, but where her mother can see into the future, Caira can see into the past, and speak to the dead. What will happen when Caira realizes that she cannot speak to her mother as she can speak to other dead people? How far will she go to find her mother again? Will she have what it takes?
