Ellalouise (also known as Ella) Carter is a 16 year old, living in Los Angeles. Her life is filled with friends, boys, school, drama, and most importantly, polaroids. Every day of her life, Ella has taken a polaroid photo and stuck it in a book. It was a tradition her mother and father started, a tradition she was determined to carry on.
When Dylan Reed enters her life however, she spends more and more time going out and having fun with people, rather than her camera. Ella is guarded about love, but will Dylan make her forget about the most important thing to her?
