When Lucille's honcho punishes her for letting one mutt live, Lucy decides it's enough. Lucy couldn't help what she did; something attracted her to him, and by instinct, she protected the werewolf of all people. Lucy escapes, sick of all the killing, blood, and pain that her kind causes. She finds herself in Minnesota, on the run from vampires.

What happens when she meets the newly-discovered Alpha? It turns out he owes her his life... and he'll pay it back by giving her his love.
