April and Fred Matthews are madly in love and finally things are going well for their future. They just purchased a house and April's books have been flying off the shelves. Things seem too good to be true. While out one day, Fred is involved in car accident which leaves his short term memory slightly damaged. The accident changes Fred mentally in which he becomes short tempered and depressed. April has tried for the last year to help him get back to normal, ignoring her health issues along the way. Until one day, April has what she thinks is a migraine but it's clearly not and she ends up in the hospital in a coma. When she awakes, Fred is there to greet her but April doesn't know who Fred is. She doesn't remember him at all. April thinks its 2018 and single. In reality, it's 2023 and she's married! As April navigates her 'new' life, she's thinking about her ex-boyfriend and how things just didn't work out due to timing. She's thinking of rekindling her relationship with him, despite the fact she's 'married'. Will Fred give up on April and leave her be? Or will April have her memory restored before she gets physically involved with her ex?
