Reagan overlooks the crowd, standing on her tippy toes in hopes of getting a better view of the track. A slight panic begins to rise in her chest when her boyfriend's bike is nowhere in sight. She waits for all the bikes to cross the finish line before entering into full panic mode. With her hair tousling in the wind and the sun beating down on what would normally be a perfect summer day, Reagan is anything but okay at the thought of her boyfriend becoming seriously injured during a race of Motocross. When he doesn't show up at the first race as promised, she is quick to call his phone, hunt down his friends, and debates on going to the hospital. She knows the territory of the sport. She has lived through the injuries it has to offer. All his friends say they have seen him at some point and all her friends say he will show up, yet no one can bring her to him nor can she get a hold of him. As she gets sent to his voicemail for the twentieth time, she feels defeated. "Nolan Anderson if you are not okay..." © 2017 alwaysfallingbackwards
