Shade, Fourthteller, tribe of Shadow Rivers, is in for a surprise when she meets two cats, Broken, and Frost. Broken is a messenger, and son of one of the worst tribes there is. Frost is Secondteller to the tribe of Winter. Though, of meeting Broken first, Shade realizes where she met Broken is out of ordinary. Broken, too, is out of ordinary.
