The year is 398. The story tells of Domitilla, a roman farm girl who lived a bland life until the Visigoths came and plundered her village, sparing only her. She's been whisked off into a strange world with new traditions and people. As she struggles with the loss of her family and her survival, she's given a prophecy: that she will be the one to save the people who have taken everything away from her. Domitilla must decide where her loyalties lie, and whether or not to accept her fate.
