"Dear, please. Come with me." "No! No.. I can't. You took him from me!" she screamed, bashing both of her fists into his chest as he fell backwards onto the dresser, shattering the mirror, "How could you do that? How could you do that to the only one you love?" The man reposed himself, brushing off his soft tux and hoping the back wasn't stained, blowing up a short curl of brown hair from his eyes and looking at his maiden sympathetically, "Darling, I wish I knew what you are feeling. But I don't," his body language turned darker as he continued, his eyes turning from a dark chocolate brown to a bronze-gold, "And you know what you must do, stop stalling." The maiden straightened herself, her mermaid dress with a slight poofiness halfway down the thigh torn to bits, barely managing to keep her decent, and her face looked smeared as though an artist took a rag and smeared his panting over the edge of the canvas. Her light beige-streaked brown straight hair swayed as though there was a draft in the room, "Why must I do the deed you have assigned me to, fair squire? I have yet to cease to impress you, obviously. But in all seriousness, I do not understand why I am so needed to do this. There are plenty of oth-" A loud crack interupted her as the man hurled over as her, then a pop sound erupted as the maiden's courset broke. She rolled as the added room allowed a pair of long, beautiful wings to erupt from her shoulderblades and as did her lover's. The man cursed and opened the large French doors. The couple were on a balcony, about four floors up. With a leap of faith, he grabbed the girl, "It'll be instinct, just remember to flap!" he shouted over the noise before perching on the ledge next to her. A large boom came from behind them, sending the maiden down with a terrified shriek, cut off by an abrupt screech as she smashed into a rock wall below.

Her vision blurry, eyes teary, ears ringing, as her head starts buzzing from the hard impact. She watches, as the red shining droplet falls and taints everything in its own darkness. She hears muffled voices, just as she feels a tingling sensation when she realises a hand on her shoulder and it's owner. A sob leaves her lips, when she realises what she has to do. His voice sounds in her ears, as she memorizes that baritone for the last time directed to her, "Are you okay?", with care. She pulls her hand, gathering her energy as silent pained tears falls down her face concentrating her powers. Suddenly, he jerks and falls stiff on his back, unable to move his body. His eyes widened as he registers what she is going to do, all while whispering, "No, no, please don't...". Grabbing a tree, she stands up painfully slow with tears running down her face uncontrollably. She takes a step towards him and sits on his torso, as she wails for everything happened to him and for everything she could have had, but now can't. To the Gods, for cursing her with her damned destiny. He slowly cups her face, and joins their heads released from the powers unknown to her, as he comforts her, "Don't worry, we will be over this, together." Her sobs turns quiet, just when suddenly again his body jerk back in same position, as she apologize, "Sorry, but I can't be selfish enough, not for you, for me and for us." As she slams her fisted kuckles down his head again and again.
