**OLD ~ I wrote this when I was like 14-16 so be aware!** Four generations after The Last Hope, we strike into two rivaling Clans: LightClan and OutClan. LightClan is of loyal, strong-willed warriors while OutClan is dis trustworthy and full of rogues. When Ashstar, LightClan's leader receives a prophecy speaking of a cat who will have the power to talk to any animal, she's at a loss for words. A litter of kits is born that very night, Wolfkit and Frostkit. Ashstar realizes Wolfkit is the prophesied cat and doesn't know how to react. As Wolfkit struggles with her ability, Frostkit has trouble with OutClan, seeing she has been gifted with supreme hunting and fighting skills. Both the she-cats go through hardships and battle having the temptation of mates as young apprentices, one far worse than the other. But that is not their only problem, there is evil lurking inside their very Clan and they are the only ones who can stop it. Like? Share? Comment? Something is tainting her soul, persuading her to use her powers for evil, and not good. Unless she can break free of what's binding her, she won't be able to use her powers for good. All she'll be able to do is cause pain, more pain, and even more pain. But it's not so easy, especially when she's got herself tangled in the ropes of the darkness. Suddenly, she realizes that she's no better than Applefoot. Paired with slowly falling hopelessly in love with a cat who never is clear with her, breaking free of her dark insides is seeming harder and harder. If she can't do it, then she'll never be able to see the face of good again. She'll be another apprentice gone wrong, and all she'll be remembered for is darkness. Sunpaw can't let that happen. But unless she figures out how to cut herself free from the darkness, then it will happen. And there will be nothing she can do it about it.Complete

Mind you, with all the propaganda about kittypets floating around, it was a surprise they took the risk in accepting her in the first place. But I mean, hey, just how much trouble can one cat get into? Silverkit, for one, is really going to find out.
