Carrie, a six year old had run away from her family a year ago. The only problem is that the more time away she had been from her family, the more things she forgets. She has already forgotten the reason she left and her own name.
One day, in her shelter in a park, she has a feeling  that something important is going to happen. Not long after she sees a boy, about her age, being attacked by two older kids. Being brave, she stands up to the bullies only to be hurt by them herself.
Soon and older girl, covered by a red jacket with the hood up, comes to both kids rescue. The boy and the older girl already seem to know each other. They all walk back to a small shelter that is in an abandoned building.
Carrie meets more people who are just like her. They all ran away. Will she remember the reason she ran away? Will she find out the reasons why the others ran too? Will she see her family again? Or will she find a new family to call her own?
