Mermaids were real and Syrena was one of them.
Her duty was to guard Luna Island from the Ground People. The Island had been home to Mermaids for thousands of years, untouched by Humans that were too afraid of the sharks that surrounded it and the storms that seemed to brew whenever anybody got close enough to see the shore.
Mermaids that had trained as Watchers were tasked with deterring any and all humans from coming near the island, by any means necessary.
When trainee Watchers Syrena and Marinel are faced with a group of Ground Men determined to reach Luna, they do everything they can to stop them.
Not knowing their own strength, they use their powers and cause the strange leg people to crash into rocks near by, becoming shipwrecked on their home.
The girls risk exposing themselves as they attempt to convince the handsome castaways to forget about Luna and never return, fearing what would happen if The Three discover their huge mistake.
