I would like to extend a warning to you, dear readers, for this poem is a lot heavier and potentially a lot more upsetting than the first two I have uploaded; the tone is fiercer and much more bitter.
I was inspired one day by the phrase "don't you dare" and the repetition stuck with me until I was able to sit down and write this in it's entirety. I wanted to explore a poem that deals with the thought of losing friends so very dear to oneself; the fear, the loss, and the grief.
I do hope you enjoy.
Much love,
-T. B. Rose
